LISTEN!!
It is often said that where animals "know," humans "know that they know". Knowing that we know is the core capacity of human beings. We homo sapiens are more than sapient or wise, as we have the distinct capacity to know that we "know." This capacity for self observation is explosively powerful capacity that makes a man responsible for his actions. This can be termed as personal consciousness at times, but it goes beyond the physical organism, and is to be discovered in extended field of culture, society, nation or even beyond that...... There is a collective mind, also termed as "nous," where all our previous experiences of this and past lives are stored. This "collective Mind" is a kind of repository to which we all refer to when we act or take decisions. Hence, we all have the same source or in simple term, same dictionary to consult to! So, Unity and not Separation is our underlying reality! It is our awakening or listening to that "inner guiding voice" which either makes us aware and thus let us make use of the past valuable repository of experiences stored in "collective consciousness;" or just let us remain the ordinary individual who prefers to "learn through mistakes" only. Everything in essence comes from collective realm, even our own supposedly possessed creativity!!


 I have tried to pen down a small poetry on how we humans tend to ignore that "inner guiding voice" as we focus more on physical pulsations, and outward development of faculties than paying heed to this everlasting omnipresent conscience.
Listen! the inner voice is awake,
A sound like thunder it makes
Agent of truth and humane virtues.
of us all - few receive
as the conscience tries to perceive.

Listen! the eternal spirit is awake,
an eternal motion it makes
Agent of the collective omnipresent mind
Of us all - few receive
as the growing faculties play and deceive.

Listen! the inner doctrine is awake
an everlasting imagery it paints
Agent of creator and receiver both
Of us all - few receive
as only theories of sensation a man believes.


Hoping to delve into this "collective mind" more often, and urging you to do the same.......

    Such profound thoughts put in beautiful words ..... So apt ....in these troubled times of terrorists and their ideologies ....are they listening to their inner voice...one wonders ...

    Such a wonderful write up...how very thoughtful of you dear..: To know our true self our strength ....we need to spend time with ourselves
    Most people are unable to be happy when they are alone ........ for they do not like the one who dwells within .
    Our internal dialogue manifests Physically.
    It can change the internal chemistry of our bodies .
    let's learn to change our thoughts to what's productive and conducive to our physical reality .

    Very nicely written. I have never thought from this perspective. "collective consciousness" is a a very interesting take on some of the unexplained things our mind does like "my gut feeling says"..

Goddess Durga's Spirit This Time! This time seems to be a time of revolutionary spirits. Suddenly, we are reading about the hurt sentiments of women echoing in the messages such as "This Navaratri lets pray that no Durga is aborted, no Saraswati is stopped going from school, no Lakshmi has to beg for money for living, no Parvati is sacrificed for dowry, no Sita has to suffer in silence and no Kali is given a tube of fairness cream".  This is a strong message, and for a change, the one which is liked and not trolled.
