UNIVERSE: CREATIVELY YOUR'S

Image
LET US TRY AND CREATE SOMETHING TODAY!! Creativity is such a satisfying and cathartic experience. How much we love to paint, draw, sketch, cook, write and explore all other fields to express our ingenuity, our creativity. Have you ever wondered what we are creating here in this world has already been created? We are simply producing the copies of all that has already been created. Well, that might not sound good but it is true. You can think about the words that you have already heard and read. You can imagine about pictures that already exist in your experience. You are doing everything twice in your experience. First, collecting data from experience throughout years and places; and then, restructuring and re-evolving the same data into your own. This restructuring of the same data is what we call our own “creativity”. If you think this means that we aren’t artists in our own ways. No, we still are! Despite all the re structuring of the common ava...

Is Ignorance Really a Bliss?

Image
Is Your Mind Disabling or Enabling you? There was a man who jumped from the second floor. He got badly injured. After he was a little better, he came out of his house limping. The neighbours knew what happened with him but still asked: "Did the fall hurt you badly?" The man replied: "No, it was the stop that hurt." That's how the ignorance works! You are happy falling in ignorance till you meet the ground reality and get badly hurt. So, all these dissuading remarks going around that make one feel it is good to be ignorant are just fool’s trap. If you are sky diving, knowing how and when to open a parachute would be of immense significance since the dive will be fantastic otherwise too but the landing would hurt. Why we say or think that ignorance is good is only because we feel it is good to remain untouched by most of the nonsensical things going around in the world. Our mind works like a bin collecting everything that we come across: good o...

A GREAT TEACHER EAT APPLES !

Image
WHICH TEACHER WOULD YOU LIKE TO THANK? When a survey was conducted in American schools last year asking question to students: what makes a teacher great? The responses were surprising and pretty unconventional. The kindergarten children wrote: A great teacher is one who eats apples. Hilarious it seemed at first go for the researchers to interpret but then later they discovered because teachers have taught them in class that “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. But does that mean healthy teachers? Yes, because they thought their teachers are too grumpy at times and lack the energy and fun while in class. Child is most precious responsibility and should be handled joyfully but in Indian schools most often the teacher student ration is 1:35 or even more leaving the teachers’ temperament frustrated and chaotic. Despite these problems, a teacher need to keep learning a joyful process, something that keeps them motivated to turn up in classroom enthusiastically every day. As a ...

We EAT - PLANT not MONEY !

Image
INSPIRE OR EXPIRE! Inside or Outside: they just beautify everything around Plants are like children. You have to take immense care and show immense patience for them to bloom. They make your cup of morning tea so worthwhile by providing the beautiful ambiance but they aren’t grown in a day. In fact nothing does! Avocado(lemon yellow bottle): experimental into experiential   I had been the garden lover always, and needless to say that have nurtured gardens in every station I have lived in. This time I got to stay in a first floor house, and garden became a challenge with the scarcity of water, nurseries around, and lack of knowledge of pouring the right amount of water, and making the right kind of potting mix for my pots (even they weren’t available to me because of distance that I had to travel to fetch them!) So, here was the big challenge. Staying without my plants around was just out of question. Hence, I started reading books on basic...

Karwachauth: How Do I love thee? Let me Count the Ways

Spouse : Not a Destination but a Fellow Traveler Since the technology breakthroughs have made a revolutionary impact on our lives, and changed the fundamental way of our living, it’s no strange thing that it has changed the way we think. Interestingly, all change  hasn't  been good, especially when it comes to debates like fasting on particular days and festivals or praying to certain deities or not. This is because with progress we should have really liberated ourselves of such debates then falling prey to them. It  doesn't  and  shouldn't  matter which religion and philosophy do you follow unless you  aren't  a trouble creator for others. Then, the endless debates on condemning the rituals as gateway to modern thinking or holding them up with pride seems so baselessly eulogized version of being just-an-extremist for no reason. Whether one believes in fasting or praying is a personal choice but condemning everything o...
